Well, thanks to all of you who left me such nice, encouraging comments. Today was absolutely 100% better than yesterday.
The two big boys cleaned the house, I did three loads of laundry and did a 2-mile workout with my Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds for Abs video, as the sky seemed to threaten rain. It remained looking that way all day, but we didn't receive a drop. We did school, made homemade pizza for pizza, and I baked a cake that, after I add frosting and some other decoration, will be a birthday cake for a special little boy -- our Zeb who will be 7 tomorrow.
Then, our middle son, Nick will have his birthday on Sunday. He will be 14! I will be baking his cake tomorrow and decorating it. It will travel to church with us, and we will have it as part of our fellowship meal. Our boys love to celebrate their special days with our church family, although many of our church family will not be present due to other plans, but we will just enjoy the ones who will be there.
Also, tomorrow, the two big boys have soccer practice in the morning and my hubby will be helping his sister and her husband move the rest of their things out of her old house. We will do lunch with them.
Monday is fairly clear and relaxing, though I may have the boys do some school. We don't always take the little holidays off. Then, we will help to celebrate the birthday of a dear friend that evening. And Tuesday, back to the normal routine.
I'm feeling so much better today. God is so good. He always knows just what I need and when I need it.
