My Month of September

Two of our boys had birthdays in the month of September and they were Lego birthdays! These boys love their Legos!

They couldn't wait to start assembling these Lego sets!

We also had some sever flooding in September:

One hundred roads were closed for a whole day. It wasn't easy to get around. My husband was sent home from work at lunch time and had to drive out around down into the opposite end of town to come back around to get to our home.

When I stopped to take the photo above, two of my children did not say they were going to get out of the car. I had left the keys in the ignition because I wasn't going more than like ten feet away from the car. Well, one of my boys locked all of the doors when he got out, so we were near a garage, and what a blessing, they got my car open for me and didn't charge me a single penny!

Finally, soccer season is in full swing and our boys' team is playing extremely well this year. They haven't lost a game yet.

I hope to post about what's been happening so far in October by the end of the week.

Oh, and a bit of bad news, our boys' soccer team lost their game tonight 2-1. Our oldest was very upset about it, but I said, "It's the first game you've lost all season. You can't always win, and your team has been doing extremely well this season. You only have one game left. So your wins will definitely outnumber your losses, and that's a better season than your team has had since you've been playing on it." (They have something to be proud of, and it's our oldest's last season, as he is a senior this year, so it's a great last season.)
